DESCRIPTION:🇪🇬 Egyptian Community in Montreal Rallies Behind the Pharaohs in World Cup 2026\nIn a remarkable display of patriotism and belonging\, The General Union of Egyptians Abroad – Canada Chapter\, led by Mr. Adel Boulos\, in cooperation with The Cultural Office of the Egyptian Consulate General in Montreal\, headed by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Jaber\, hosted a massive community screening for the Egypt vs. Belgium World Cup 2026 match. \n📌 Event Highlights:\nMassive Turnout: The event witnessed a large gathering of the Egyptian community from Montreal and its surrounding Canadian cities. \nAuthentic Egyptian Atmosphere: Equipped with a giant viewing screen\, the venue allowed attendees to follow the match in an enthusiastic\, pride-filled atmosphere\, blending a deep love for the national team with nostalgia for the homeland. \nOfficial & Prominent Presence: The event was attended by Consul Mostafa Issa\, who joined to support the community\, alongside founding members and participating associations of the Union\, including Mr. Adel Iskander and Dr. Mireille Wassef. \nFighting Spirit: Attendees highly praised the strong and honorable performance of the national team under the leadership of Manager Hossam Hassan and his technical staff against one of football’s global powerhouses. \n🤝 Acknowledgments & Appreciation:\nThe Union extends its deepest gratitude to those who contributed to the success of this national gathering\, with special thanks to: \nMr. Peter Merkos\, President of “Place River Sud\,” for graciously hosting the event. \nAmira Boulos Shops\, for their generous sponsorship in providing refreshments\, snacks\, and cold drinks for the attendees. \n\n📣 Looking Ahead: The Canada Chapter of the General Union of Egyptians Abroad invites all community members in Canada to join the upcoming events and continue roaring for the Pharaohs in their next matches against New Zealand and Iran.
